West Bay SonShip is back on the water [PHOTOS]

West Bay SonShip is a family-owned, full-service Canadian yacht builder, and we couldn't be happier to see them back on the water. Though they were busy working on service and refit work during the last few years, they're back with their first new boat in several years.

I visited with SonShip president, Wes Vermuelen, at the Lake Union Boats Afloat show in September and had the good fortune to step aboard their 72-foot Skylounge, a special order from a long-time customer. SonShip is known for their high standards and exceptional craftsmanship, and this beautiful boat just reinforces why they're very good at what they do.

The scale model. Much smaller than 72 feet.

It's great to see SonShip back on the water. Dueck Marine has a long history of supplying rigid inflatable yacht tenders to SonShip, and it's always been a relationship we value. They build fantastic, high quality boats, and have an important place in the North American marketplace.

You can see the quality in our photo gallery. For more information, please visit west-bay.com. And for an RIB tender for your yacht, we're here for you. Give us a shout.
